Stop with the tinny sound and the ear-bud "noose"!
The Senta Ally has excellent audio and is light, powerful and rechargeable. You can connect using USB, FM, Bluetooth®, SD card or the included 1/8" Auxillary input cable.
With the Ally you can stream audio via Bluetooth® from your mobile phone, tablet, laptop, MP3 player and any other Bluetooth® enabled device. It is perfect for your next road trip, and great for listening to your favorite playlist from your phone or tablet while cleaning the house or working out. Is your favorite playlist on a thumb drive or SD card? It will play room filling audio from those as well.
The Ally delivers crisp, full range stereo sound with bass performance that will make it the center of attention.
Note: The Senta Ally charges via USB (USB cable included). If you need to be able to charge the battery in a different way you can use the Power Block Dual Universal USB Wall Charger.
The Ally has a small LCD screen, somewhat like a radio has. You can select files, navigate through various menu features and also see music track information (by USB or SD only). Smart phone and tablet users can take full advantage of the Ally's Bluetooth® connectivity and easily stream audio wirelessly. The Ally even has a speakerphone feature allowing you to answer calls directly from it. At just 10 ounces it makes it an excellent speaker for those that can't go without good audio at their travel destinations. It also has a built-in FM radio. Apple® lossless and .AAC format files cannot play from a USB thumb drive or SD card. Playback of these formats require Bluetooth® or the use of the included 1/8" Aux-in cable connected to your players headphone jack.
The Ally effortlessly fills a medium to large size room with crisp, full range stereo sound and bass performance that defies belief. This makes it ideal for use with laptops, tablets, portable gaming systems, smartphones, or just for casual listening. For outdoor use (it is not weather proof or weather resistant) the Ally has incredible vocal projection and a wide listening field.
The average run time is over 8 hours at medium volume. Play times will vary depending on volume levels and Bluetooth® operation. Please go to Center Point Audio for additional product information.

Great speaker, Very well-designed, flexible many uses. Great value for $20. I have a good one for $30 - this one is better.
Easy to use; many uses; great sound; very portable; sturdy..
Menu takes some getting used to.
I have many devices I need this kind of speaker for. So good to be able to hear anything I want.

Sounds real nice. Kind of hard to set up. FM radio receive weak. needs antenna. put on my BC75XLT scanner and works real nice. Used mono to stereo cable on scanner and Kenwood HT. That wired noise went away.
Runs long on battery, Many ways to use the speaker Even charge from 5V solar panel from eBay!

I bought this to use with my scanner. Big mistake. Sounds like machinery noise on my scanner. My dollar store speaker works better that this.
Sounds great as a music player. I will use it for my hard to hear Samsung tablet when I watch a video.
Poor performance for use with a scanner. That's the reason I bought this in the first place. Too much interference emitting from this thing.
I will bring this to my art show next week to play some background jazz. After that I really have no use for this since it has poor performance with my scanner so I'll probably just pack it up or maybe use it for a paperweight.

This Senta Ally is another C. Crane product in my electronic stable. Since my purchase of a CC WIFI radio, I've been hooked. As to their line of speaker, earbuds, and headphones, I own several of each. The Senta-40 wood headphones are my favorite unbelievable acoustics that plastic just can't render. As for earbuds, I have three sets of the (sadly discontinued) Senta wood. They perform on a par with my $100.00 Bose earbuds. The Ally provides great listening for it's size. 100 - 20,000 Hz is nothing to sneeze at in this class of portable speaker! The multiple available inputs plus Bluetooth ensures that all the gadgets you have will work with this speaker. One thing I like is the SD option. I have several cards loaded with different types of music that I carry with the Ally in the provided tote bag. We're talking about 48GB of music anywhere I go. One nice thing about the SD option is no matter where I leave off on any card in or out of the slot, I am returned to that song wh
Great sound for it's size,Versatile inputs,Good battery life,C. Crane quality build,Replaceable battery,Phone capabilities
Bit of an operational learning curve

I literally jumped the 1st time it powered-up! Across the room was my SW Pocket tuned to an FM station. The Ally came to life just 1 FM notch off the same station and the volume was about 75?Despite being mis-tuned, the sound was rich & full & loud! Primarily this is used with an SD card of old radio podcasts to put me to sleep. Unfortunately, the sleep timer resets to off every time it reboots. Usually the podcast resumes from where it left off, but sometimes it has rewound to where it left off a couple nights ago (fast-forward is somewhat slow & doesn't accelerate the longer the button is held). Battery life is *maybe* 3 hours even at bedside volume perhaps the Bluetooth is still powered-up after the sleep timer expires, after all, the power switch is still on. I really enjoy this device the sound quality is amazing, the construction is solid, and I appreciate the carrying bag and wrist strap. Plus, the varied inputs are what got me to make the purchase.

I use it pretty much every day. By following the instructions it paired easily with my iphone. Once I started using it, I realized it also paired wonderfully with my CC Witness. I record radio programs all week with the CCWitness using sandisk cards (the witness is able to screen out hours of commercials if you program the timers). I can play the disks in either unit at my convenience. I also use it to play The CBS Radio Mystery Theater, episodes that are available for free download on the internet, the voices are crisp and easy to listen to with the Senta. Navigation is a little tricky, but once I got the hang of it, its very simple. Also pairs great with the pillow speaker!

I heard about this from Art Bell,I ordered it last year and I have to say that it is amazing! Read instructions and its easy to use! Sound is significant for its size. I love metal music and hard rock and it can take the abuse! Another plus being here in Canada it gets damn cold and it can handle the nasty -25 weather, right up to 40 with humidex..... buy it!

Well, a second try at rating this.Charged and working nicely. Very attractive - first thing my wife noticed. Good sound but would like an equalizer or tone control - bass not strong. Works well with the Bluetooth connect with my iPhone.FM is a bit tricky and I'm not always sure what is working there. It does get signals but it gets confusing when listening and trying to work the buttons.Have not tried other options.Very attractive - which my wife noticed immediately. The wrist strap does not connect properly, or at least my experience. The glove case for it is nice and works well.
- Turn the Senta Ally on
- Turn your PlayStation® Vita On
- On your Vita go to the Settings Menu
- Choose Network
- Choose Bluetooth® Settings
- Make sure the Bluetooth® feature is checked
- Under the Bluetooth® Device settings you should see Senta Speaker
- Click on it
- Enter 0000 and click OK
The paired connection is now stored but it is best to turn the PlayStation® Vita off and then turn it on again. Once the pairing process is complete it should take about 30 seconds from the time the PlayStation® Vita is turned on to switch the audio over to the Senta Ally.
Bluetooth®: The runtime on a full battery charge will vary depending on the volume and what type of audio you are playing. At 50% volume you can expect approximately 6-8 hours of battery life while using Bluetooth with the display light off.
USB: Not all USB Thumb Drives are created equal. Some USB drives use more power than others. Because of this situation, it is difficult to estimate what runtimes you could expect while using a USB drive.
SD Card: Depending on the volume and what type of audio you are playing, the runtime on a full battery charge will vary. However, at 50% volume you can expect approximately 6-8 hours of battery life while listening to audio from an SD card with the display light off.
Line-IN: Requires the least amount of processing power of all the playback modes. Therefore, using Line-In audio will provide the longest runtimes. At 50% volume, a full battery will last approximately 10-12 hours with the display light off.
FM Radio: At 50% volume and depending on the audio you are listening to, you can expect 8-11 hours of runtime with the display light off.
