Single Earbud Optimized For Voice
The CC Buds™ Solo single earpiece provides a unique advantage over traditional earbuds because it allows you to interact better with others while listening to radio, podcasts or audiobooks (your boss will love you). The integrated stereo to mono plug works with smartphones, radios, tablets and most other audio devices.
The Solo can give you a safety advantage when running, biking, or walking because you are more likely to hear if danger approaches. The cable is Kevlar™ reinforced for maximum durability. It is perfect for scanner radio listening. Can work well for law enforcement when greater awareness is needed.
Audio is tuned for superior voice clarity. Included are three silicone and three compressible foam covers - sized small, medium and large. The small covers usually fits a small ear comfortably. Standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. Cord Length 48".

An excellent listening device for clarity and voice recognition for hearing impaired. Been listening to overnight radio for years on C.Crane earplugs needing amplification on my CCRadio2. These just plug in with plenty of volume without my hearing aids.
Quality sound for all night listening to Coast to Coast AM and other programs.
None yet in the two months of use.
Private listening with quality audio.

The Bud Solo is a great item to use while on a walk around the neighborhood. You can have conversations with your neighbors and still listen to what's going on on the scanner, or your shortwave portable.
The cord comes with a nice clip to hold it in place. Nice to see that. Good mid range audio for voice. Music sounds decent with just enough lows. The adjustable ear cups give you enough options for a good fit.
An inline volume control would be welcome. Possibly a microphone addition in the future.
Portable Scanners, Handheld Transmitters, and Small Portable Radios like the Skywave.

I mostly use it at night ... plugged into my CC-Radio2 ... audio is clear for both AM-talk-radio and FM-symphony-music ... the ear piece fits great!
I wish the cord was 5-feet long not really a con ... just a wish
I use it exclusively with my bedside radio ... I am very pleased.

Listen, what can you say about a voice optimised mono earbud? The CC Buds Solo In-Ear Single Earbud for Radio, Audio Books and Podcasts works for me, that is late night listening to my android while my partner sleeps and I lay on my pillow. The bud is supplied with a range of ear-adapters, surely one will be the one for you. I found the right one for me, and it's still comfy even if I lay on that ear.I don't know if the bud is optimised for voice but that sounds clear and good. Music, not so. But that's not the point. People with mono-hearing may say different. My android has no audio output, so I use this with a USB-C audio adapter. Works well, merging both left and right channels with adequate volume for a night-time listen but at nowhere near the volume my regular headphones reach via the same route. But in this case, that's a good thing. So, if you're looking for an IEM, this will not do. But given the job I expected it to do, my first impressions are very good, and my star rating
Great for night-time listening, melds stereo into mono, voice optimised, plenty of fit options
Not for music, but that's a given... no microphone for phone use, but that's not what it's for either
