Description

We have had a few reports from customers telling us their CCRadio-2 or CCRadio 2E sprouted legs and took a diving leap off the kitchen table, nightstand, countertop or some other high place. When the radio pulls off a perfect headfirst dive onto a hard floor, the whip antenna will usually sustain an injury if it's extended. This replacement antenna is easy to install; please click on the "Downloads/Manuals" tab for instructions. If you don't feel comfortable replacing the antenna yourself please call us. We will be happy to take care of this for you.

Note: If you own the CCRadio or CCRadioPlus then a different replacement antenna is required.

Needed Item
Of course I will use C Crane whenever I have questions about my radio or need to order another one.
PROS
After knocking the radio off the table and breaking the end of the antenna off,I needed a replacement. Nothing could be easier. All I had to do was call for a replacement part for an excellent radio.

Only need top half of antenna
You may only need the top portion of antenna which is damaged therefore eliminating the need to open up the radio for total replacement.  x
PROS
OME parts for nice radio

CONS
I would suggest packaging tiny brass bushings in separate sealed bag within antenna packaging (I ended up placing small amount of vasoline on bushings to hold them in place until I could thread screw back into place).

Happy
I really like my Crane Radio
PROS
I received thorough and knowledgable answers to my questions. Product was well made and means I can use my old radio for years to come instead of junking products like we do so often nowadays.

CONS
Shipping costs were high so that it doesn't make much sense to order the antenna.
