Great Radio
I thought I had a good am/fm radio, but now I have a great radio! I live off the grid and now pick up previously weak fm stations and many more am stations.
PROS
AM stations hold well, very little fading.

CONS
Wish the clock would stay displayed when you turn the radio on.

BEST USES
Around the house, a bit big for camping unless you have the room.

CCRadio-SW
I owned 3 of these radios. They work great new. They just don't last long, which is disappointing. Still if CCrane came out with an updated version I'd buy it immediately.
PROS
Strong AM Reception. Good FM. Shortwave is ok but has less Reception the higher the frequency.

CONS
No sync for shortwave and AM. No single side band. No keyboard entry. Very annoying beep for band changes etc. And light that brightly comes on when ever dial is touched. Both beep and light makes using this radio useless at night if you want to keep your spouse happy.

BEST USES
AM listening in low interference areas.

CCRADIO SW Refurbished Used Manual
The radio is peerless but I was embarrassed to find the manual with coffee or food stains plus writing in the margins. With shipping, $ exchange and Canadian customs my price was close to $200. CDN. One would think you guys could,at least, send a CLEAN Manual.
PROS
Superb Rx

CONS
Refurbished radio comes with a used stained manual

BEST USES
Inside a travel trailer where Rx much better than any radio tried - even other CC AM/FM Weather radios.

Had promise
Didn't expect a perfect radio. First thing I noticed was the battery status didn't work and the charger, same. Next the tuner malfunctioned. Have not used since, several years now. No hope to repair, a shop told me.
PROS
NONE

CONS
Of no use now but a dust collector.
