It features a pre-programmed Service Search that can search and detect active frequencies which may not be published for your area. It can receive both US and Canadian all-hazards alerts. Even when the scanner is turned off, the BearCat scanner can notify you of alerts with an alert tone, voice audio of the alert and can display the alert message summary. The BearCat BC370CRS Scanner is the first radio to pick up and alert you to special digital NOAA emergency transmissions broadcast right off of AM and FM radio.
