Sonido Radio

The Sonido has excellent AM reception almost as good as our famous CCRadio plus. The Sonidos internal ferrite antenna is 7/16" diameter, 6.25" long and does a great job pulling in distant stations.

To set the alarm press either the SPEAKER ALARM or BELL ALARM button, and then immediately press and hold the SCAN button for approx 3 seconds until the HOUR flashes.  Use the Tuning buttons, UP or DOWN, to set the HOUR.  Then press SCAN again and the MINUTES flash, and use the UP/DOWN Tuning buttons to set the MINUTES.  Press the SCAN button again to save the alarm setting, and once more to return to the regular display.

First make sure your MP3 player is plugged into the green AUX jack on the side of your Sonido. Then press the BAND BUTTON on your Sonido until AU appears on the display.  You may need to push the BAND BUTTON 1-4 times because the radio needs to dial through the AM, FM, TV and WX bands before it reaches AUX.  AU will only appear as an option when a device is plugged into the green AUX jack.

When the radio is off press the BAND BUTTON for 10 seconds and the display will flash the FM tuning step, which is 200 kHz. While the display is flashing press the BAND BUTTON again and the AM tuning steps will appear. Press the UP tuning button for 10 kHz tuning and the DOWN tuning button for 9 kHz tuning.

Yes the PR-D4VW and the Sonido radio are the same model.

The display light turns off 7 seconds after the last button or tuning press is made on the radio.

You can set the sleep timer for 120, 90, 60, 45, 30, or 15 minutes.

Low batteries can cause this problem. If the radio is operating on AC, make sure it has a solid connection and is plugged into a working outlet.

To program a station into memory hold the memory button down until you hear a beep and the display flashes (takes approx 3 seconds). To recall a memory preset simply press and release the desired preset. If the preset is held down to long it will save to the current station instead of recalling the desired station.
