The Sangean PR-D5 Digital Tuning Portable Stereo Receiver w/ RDS
is an exceptional value. The audio is set up specifically for music,
rather than voice. AM reception is comparable to the CCRadio
plus. However, the PR-D5 does not have the weather band or weather
alert. But for music lovers, it is a great choice. The PR-D5 is
a good radio with stereo audio through its twin speakers, a clean
layout, and a small footprint. Includes a built-in alarm clock and
sleep timer so it can double as your bedside or desktop radio. Other
features include: five memories per band (AM/FM), display light,
stereo headphone jack, audio-in jack. Runs on included AC Adapter
or six "C" size batteries (not included). One year warranty.

How do I change the AM tuning from 9 kHz to 10 kHz?

When the radio is off press and hold the BAND BUTTON for approximately 7 seconds and the display will flash 24 HOUR followed by a beep tone. Press the BAND BUTTON again to display the AM tuning step. Rotating the knob counter clockwise is 9 kHz and clockwise is 10 kHz. While the display is flashing press the BAND BUTTON again to finalize your settings.
