Put a phone jack into any room of your house instantly, using the existing wiring of your home. You can use it for a regular telephone line or with a computer to connect to the internet at 33.6K. Simply plug this unit into the 110 AC outlet of your house and you can have a phone in any room, it's that easy. There are two units, one plugs into an existing phone line anywhere in your home and the 2nd unit is the remote outlet. Excellent for bedroom phones where you don't have a phone jack and don’t want to run the wiring.
The price of this unit is much less expensive than having an electrician come to your home and install the wires and a jack. This one is the best we've found and even works well in an environment heavy with radio noise, like next to a computer. Size: 2.75" W x 4.125" H x 1.75" D.

What is the range of the Wireless Phone Jack?

Since the phone signal travels through the electric lines in your home or workplace, there are too many limiting factors (circuit breaker, number of items plugged into outlets, etc) to provide a set range. In our tests, we have found the Wireless Phone Jack works very well in most homes.

Can I plug the Wireless Phone Jack into a power strip?

You could, but it is not advised. Using the Wireless Phone Jack with a power strip can cause line loss, static, poor communication, and poor quality sound.
|

Can I use the Wireless Phone Jack on a surge protector?

No. A Surge Protector will block out the EMI emissions the Wireless Phone Jack requires to operate properly.
|

How do I setup the Wireless Phone Jack to work with my DSL?

NOTE: Do not plug the DSL filter directly to the base or extension unit. The DSL filter needs to be connected directly to an existing phone jack.
1. First plug the base unit (with two RJ-11 connectors) into an electrical outlet. Next, connect the base unit to DSL filter using six-foot phone cord (included). Finally, connect your phone to the base unit. 2. Plug the extension unit (with one RJ-11 connector) into any desired electrical outlet where needed. 3. Press the recessed button on the base unit for less than one second. The LED on the base unit will illuminate for five minutes. 4. Repeat step 3 for each extension unit. The LED on each subsequent extension unit will blink once. 5. Verify extension unit(s) has dial tone using handset telephone. Connect extension unit to set-top box using telephone cord.

I am getting any of the following types of interference with the Wireless Phone Jack: Buzzing, No dial tone, Static, Humming on the unit, or it will not ring. What can I do to fix this?

Please try the following: Check all connections and confirm that they are tight and secure. Check that the phone works directly in service outlet (without a DSL filter or Wireless Phone Jack). Make sure the Wireless Phone Jack is plugged directly into the electrical outlet and not thru a surge protector or other device. Check electrical outlet for power. Try new phone line cords. Move base and/or extension unit to a new, closer location; the Wireless Phone Jack base and extension unit must be plugged into the same circuit in your walls. Press security code button on both units to lock in a code. Note: Halogen lamps, light dimmers, computer surges and other wireless devices can cause interference. Move the unit away from these devices or unplug/disable the device that may be the cause of interference.
