Easiest to use for cells that are not on a device with charger options.
I leave the AAA cell out between uses, and it is the original at purchase. Checked it recently for recent level of 1.4 volts.

Does an accurate test of battery voltage - the arm that slides out for the positive contact is a bit wimbly but it has tested many batteries successfully without a problem.
Much more positive reading of battery condition than others.
