Versa WiFi USB Adapter II

Go miles! When used alone the Versa WiFi USB Adapter II works very to improve your laptop or desktop computers reception. But by adding a larger antenna (sold separately) you can potentially get WiFi for miles.

The Versa WiFi USB Adapter II has an external coaxial connector (RP-SMA type) that gives you the ability to use it with a better antenna. For the biggest boost in range, attach a narrow beam, Point-To-Point WiFi Antenna for reception up to about 3 miles (depending on the wireless router's sending antenna).

In our tests we used the Versa WiFi USB Adapter II with some of our antennas. We transmitted a WiFi signal using a popular brand WiFi router at half a mile away with no obstructions. Here are the results of our tests.

We could have improved these test results dramatically by installing a bigger antenna on the router. Remember your WiFi can be improved on either side of the signal.
