When you want better AM reception, but also want an AM Antenna with some style points, now you have a great choice. The Terk comes with wires, so you can connect it directly to your stereo or radio. You can also use it without the wires, and improve your AM reception just by setting the antenna near your AM radio (through a process called inductive coupling). The Terk AM Antenna outperforms any of the smaller antennas normally included with a home stereo system.

Can the Terk AM Antenna be tuned to receive multiple AM stations at the same time?

No, it will only tune in one station at a time. You may have to re-adjust the Terk AM Antenna when you tune to another AM station on your radio. Of course, if only one station needs the Terk AM Antenna for better reception, then you can leave the Terk in the position for the station indefinitely.

Our vacation home in a remote part of the Michigan Upper Peninsula (UP) is made of cinder, block making it almost impossible to receive our favorite AM station 130 air miles away. Do you have HD Radio? If you do for your AM the TERK AM Antenna shines. Best if you have input wired to AM connect on your radio. Your AM performance is greatly improved over the coiled AM antenna those radios come with. And the FM as well improved with C. Crane FM antennas as well. After all C. Crane is the place I go for all my radio needs. Like my CCRadioplus & Sonido radios! This is my Testimonial to the TERK AM.

I just received my Terk AM antennae for the Sangean WR1 radio. I purchased the radio to pick up Chicago Bears games, as they are not televised in our area, and we are about 250 miles from the Chicago area. I had the channel on the radio tuned in, as I was taking the antennae out of the box. As I approached the radio, I could hear the difference. I was amazed as to how clear the station came in.
