Prices shown in currencies other than US Dollars are estimates based on current exchange rates. We will charge your credit card in US Dollars on the day your order is shipped, and the conversion to your local currency will be done at the prevailing rate by your credit card issuer.
C. Crane will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.
You may have noticed this new acronym popping up on some of our products. RoHS stands for Restrictions on Hazardous Substances, and it's a directive that could have a huge impact on the production and disposal of consumer electronics. First adopted in Europe in 2006 (and later adopted in California in 2007), RoHS restricts the use of six dangerous substances in lots of common electronics. According to the official RoHS compliance Web site (www.rohs.eu), the RoHS symbol indicates that "new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market does not contain any of the six banned substances: lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, poly-brominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE), in quantities exceeding maximum concentration values."
While some military and medical equipment is exempt from RoHS compliance, the electronics governed by the standard are among the most common you'll find in your home, from radios to MP3 players to cell phones and (increasingly) computers. In practical terms, the standard protects factory workers at the production level, sharply reducing their exposure to hazardous substances. The standard also has a profound impact on the disposal and recycling of electronics, in that disposed substances will no longer have at least six of the most hazardous chemicals formerly found in electronics, and recycled electronics will not expose workers to toxics as they harvest components.
Open up a whole new world of listening with the CC WiFi 2 Internet Radio. Choose your favorite radio program or host and begin listening instantly on Internet radio stations that are always crisp and clear. Comprehensive search tools help you find the radio programming you desire easily. The radio uses tunein technology and the programming is subscription free. No computer is required but Internet radio does require a broadband Internet connection. Setup is quick and easy; just connect to your wifi router with internet service and the radio will guide you through the rest.
If you're not a world listener, select "Local" from the radio to listen to your favorite local stations. The radio will determine your location and even categorize the stations by FM, AM and Internet only.
There is an immense amount of music available with this radio. You can listen to the top 40 in Pop music or oldies from the 50's. Add a location to the search and listen to jazz from Costa Rica or Reggae from Jamaica. Enter the name of your favorite artist and the radio will play stations that regularly play similar artists music.
Are you a fan of talk radio? Choose your favorite syndicated talk show and the radio will find all the stations that carry the show. It will give you options for listening live or at different times depending on the stations time zone. Talk shows can easily be found by choosing a category such as entertainment, news or political view point. A category such as Entertainment can be narrowed down to astrology, food, paranormal, television and many more. If you prefer talk radio from other countries then just choose the country and the topic that you're interested in.
Choose your favorite major league sports teams or sporting events and listen to radio programming dedicated to your selection. There is a large variety of basketball, football, baseball, hockey, golf, racing, wrestling, horse racing, tennis, soccer and more.
Thousands of radio programs are recorded daily and most are available for listening whenever you want. These are called "podcasts". In many cases there are several days worth of these podcasts available.
To receive local FM stations that don't stream on the Internet, there is a built-in FM radio. This can also come in handy for "emergency" listening when your internet connection is not working. FM stations can be automatically tuned and set to memory presets (20 total presets available for FM).
A large speaker with adjustable equalizer gives great room-filling audio. It may even cause spontaneous dancing at louder volume levels. You can also move the radio from room to room without additional setup. All settings are remembered when the power is off so that, when the power is restored, the radio will resume playing where it left off as long as it is plugged into AC.
Enhance the sound from your mobile phone, tablet or other Bluetooth® enabled device with the CC WiFi 2. Just place the radio within 20-25 feet of your device and, when Bluetooth® is connected, it will wirelessly receive and play the audio. Works great for watching your tablet in bed. You can also load your music library onto a USB flash drive and plug it into the radio for additional listening options. Most USB flash drives hold hundreds of songs so the radio can consecutively play your favorite music for hours. Set your music to repeat or to play randomly.
With the CC WiFi 2 you can play music that is stored on your computer. From the radio you can sort your music or shows by album, artist, or folder to quickly narrow your selection among a huge amount of data. This is a great way to add your songs or files to the radio.
Plug your devices USB cable into the CC WiFi 2 and start charging in a more convenient location. Does it seem like there is never a good spot to charge your cell phone or tablet? This radio offers a charging jack for most USB devices. This also works well for keeping your cell phone charged while streaming audio to the radio via Bluetooth.

Some router models that use mixed encryption have trouble connecting to the CC WiFi 2. To fix this, adjust your routers wireless security settings to use single encryption, such as “WPA2/AES Only”. Do not use mixed encryption such as “WPA/WPA2/AES/TKIP”. If you have trouble changing these settings on your router then we recommend contacting your routers tech support (i.e. Netgear, Linksys, Belkin, etc.). If the router came with your internet service then you'll need to contact that provider.
